Meetup- 7:30AM Victory Field Track (There is Parking all over, on Myrtle Avenue, Woodhaven Blvd an the Bandshell on the opposite side of Woodhaven)

Enjoy our 1st of many Weekend Long Runs using BOTH sides of Forest Park! You can easily rack up 10, 15 and even 20 Miles using this simple Route with the company of teammates and friends. Please do your best to arrive early!

Departure Times
Thunder Group (10 Minute Pace and Above) 7:45AM
Chase Pack (8 Minute-Under 10 Minute Pace) 7:55AM
Rabbits (8 Minute Pace and Under) 8AM

Route- This is a Circuit Loop of both sides of Forest Park. You have to cross Woodhaven Blvd TWICE. If you have the Green Light CLEARLY in your favor, the loop will be close to 4.8 Miles. If there is traffic, you head down to Forest Park Drive OR up to Myrtle Avenue to accumulate more mileage.

Forest Park Drive (Woodhaven Blvd to Metropolitan Avenue- 1.25 Miles), exiting Park making two right turns on Metropolitan and Park Lane South to reach Myrtle Avenue (Approximately 2 Miles). Then you’ll head WEST on Myrtle Avenue until you reach Woodhaven Blvd (around 2.75 Miles). At this point, IF you have the Green Light, Proceed past 80th Street and enter Forest Park Drive again. This side will be more unfamiliar. You’ll eventually pass the Bandshell, crest a couple of hills and get to Woodhaven Blvd. On the other side, you will have completed your first loop.
